The BIRNS MSSP connector size is used for very large and/or demanding requirements. The MSSP-CP can be electro-mechanically terminated. High pressure Plug caps and Receptacle Caps are also available.
The MSSP-CP (Cable Plug) can be terminated to a "solid" cable (180° or 90°) or an "oil-filled" cable (180° or 90°) with adapter. Some pin configurations can include an optional pressure rellief valve ("PB") to equalize pressure between the CP face and ambient It is available with up to 48 contacts, all rated Class A to 2,000 metres. Optional high pressure Plug Caps and Receptacle Caps are available.
